I find myself dithering again. Case remade their lovely little swayback jack recently with a single CV blade this time.

I can't quite get my head around its size. Anyone know anything about this one. I like it, but it could end up being just too tiny as a pocket snicker

Well, it arrived and is everything I hoped. It is small, but doesn't work small. 'Capable' is the right word, Bushie. Less bulky than say a Barlow or a U2. It fits in your hand well, and has a lovely rounded kind of jewelly finish to it. Good as a pocket worry bead. But I think the best this about it is how well it's been thought through. The blade tucks away just so, and way better than GEC seem to be able to manage with their swaybacks

The blade sharpens up great. A little more time needed with steeling than an Opinel, but then again the edge stays accurate for much longer too.

It was a good Xmas choice and I am pleased :)

Previous Xmas purchases have been less fruitful. The Ti UKPK for example ... lousy balance ... and the Northwoods Mini Moose, which I lost. Mind, you there have been some corkers too .. a Manu Laplace mini 1515 in ebony and 12C27, which is just a gobsmacker
