The lad i was working with today was telling me he went pigeon shooting last night from 4.30 til 8.30 with the son of another farmer last night. I told him it was a favorite spoort of mine when I had a shotgun and then asked how many they shot? Not quite sure of the final number but we fire 700 cartridges so probably about 650ish! There are a fair few around at the moment.

Himself is enjoying pigeon breast burgers just now Fellow who shoots the pigeons is a Butcher to trade. I could ask for the recipe ?
I know he puts the fat from PopesEye steak into his venison burgers, I don't know what he uses in the pigeon ones.
