It has been very nuts here, and I see no signs of that abating soon ... might even try and duck New Year and let it fly by unremarked upon

Me too ... just got back from a snowy windy walk with the dog ... runny nose and general malaise ... me, not the dog. She's always got a runny nose

Son1 went to Hong Kong on Boxing Day. Both he and his girlfriend went down with 'flu they'd picked up on the plane :roll:
Not particularly good start to their New Year.

Ours was fine quiet but peaceful and rather civilised (this is Scotland, the civility sometimes hangs on a very thin skin) I had a glass of Cointreau and some good chocolate at the Bells

I hope the New Year is Happy, Healthy and Prosperous for us all
