Out Of Town forum was started to provide a relaxed and chilled out place for friendly & vibrant discussion of outdoor activities.
There isn't going to be a long list of rules, so just remember.....

The Mod team will happily tolerate & encourage good-natured ribbing, descriptive and creative swearing, and frank and honest discussions of any topic including religion, politics and sex. This is a forum for adults & we'll give you plenty of scope for expressing yourselves, and all we ask is that you act & behave like adults.
Think of this as a rowdy bar - if you pissed on the carpet, started a fight with another drinker, or tried to pay with a dodgy tenner; you'd expect to be barred and probably given a good kicking by the bouncers on your way out the door.
Rule 1 is simple, but penalties for transgressing it will be harsh and sudden. We're very open minded here, but if you're deliberately acting like a twat then you are fair game for a moderatorial stomping, Trial by Twitter, or a swift visit from the Ban Hammer.
New memebrs need to make 5 forum posts before they can send Private Messages.
