Just bought a new dualit coffee machine off market place...the source of the most amazing bargains🤣🤣🤣

Never ground my own beans. If it's worth the hassle can anyone recommend a grinder? I know I've seen them in use at bborc in the past.

Be good if I could use it for the campervan too, so usb or hand crank.

Hario Skelton or Porlex. I’ve got a Skelton. Hand grinding to anything smaller than cafetière/filter size granules is time and energy consuming. Getting espresso fine is a PITA, but it’s worth the hassle for the quality of coffee.

Electric. Picked up a $15 Braun on sale recently when the ancient Blaupunkt stopped going. Perfeckly serviceable. It is worth going to decent charity shops. There's always one there.

Talk to East Indian people. They usually have electric grinders for herbs & spices to make things like Garam Masala. I have one (Braun?) that I use for coffee to get coarse, medium and fine. Very practical. I inherited a really cool hand-crank coffee grinder made of oak with brass. I can grind enough coffee for a one-mug Lagostina press before the kettle boils. The ground coffee winds up in a little wooden drawer in the bottom. Fun but it's work.
