We have a surprise frost
Not expected and cue a whole round of vexed folks scraping windscreens at dark o'clock. I nearly left my bedding plants out, but in a fit of tidiness I put them back into the greenhouse.
Cold this morning, but quite nice somehow, Sun's just coming through.
Going to wrap up a bit and go for a :coffee: with a friend.

Had some nice days recently and remarkably mild, the breeze has had an edge at times, a few odd showers but nothing much.
Nice first thing this morning but now it’s snowing, fine stuff for 5 minutes, now big fluffy flakes blowing in at quite a rate.

We have had some lovely days, and then it's all change this morning. Winds and rain :sigh:
Supposed to be stronger winds later on too.
Not that cold though, just about 6˚C.

A couple of degrees warmer than of late and hazy sunshine here. A lovely day for pottering about on the allotment and giving everything a good coat of looking at.
I could even believe spring might be on the way.

The snow fell heavily for about 45 minutes, enough for a covering. Then the sun came out, the wind got up and it all disappeared in about half an hour. Since then we’ve had some short sleet and rain showers mixed with sunshine, breezy most of the day.

Maybe it's time that scientists whose work Lintzen misuses should sue the blighter.
Like the fellow who denied the Sandy Hook thing.

Well I was near Edinburgh on Tuesday to say goodbye to a friend.
Weather was lovely but the wind was rather cold...

Murky again, we are in low cloud , so it feels mizzley, sat by the pond today watched squirrels, and a couple of Robins I've named Stan and Ollie for obvious reasons. They enjoyed a couple of crushed up doggie biscuit treats I had in my pocket immensely, and came to within a foot or two of me today. They often follow me up the lane , flitting from branch to branch, just ahead of me as I walk, hoping for a treat, often it's sunflower hearts, but I only had biccies today. They didn't seem to mind tho.

Been mainly dry, a gentle breeze and up to 10°. Heard a bit more bird song in a couple of places today so they were happy enough. Quite noticeable this time of year as theyre a lot quieter, a couple of months time and it’ll be a different tune! ;)

I hate days like this. So darkly overcast that I'm half asleep all day long.

I feel as though I get nothing done, I cannot focus on anything really. My UFO pile just keeps growing (unfinised objects)
I know the days are stretching out, but I can't wait for the light to really come back. Not so bothered about the warm, but the light, I'd really appreciate the light.
