On that note though, there was an article in the latest Private Eye and it discussed the demise of the NHS's centre where transitional teenagers were treated (or weren't, the centre was overwhelmed) and part of the discussion was the quote by the 'best' surgeon in the country. He said that the policy of using puberty blockers was leaving male to female transitional people with insufficient tissue for him to create new genitalia for them. That he had to use tissue from the colon, etc., and that itself was proving to also cause issues.

To use the American interpretation of the word though....
