This has snuck in as the regular family Gin over past year or so. Just noticed that it is made on Islay

Recently have had a Google for local ish outlets for real ales or cider, as in shops or warehouses, but nothing really fits the bill. Might be tempted by the odd bottle of real cider of a different sort. There was one I had years ago in a pub, gwynt y draig or something, "farmers glory". Never seen it again. One of the outlet I found online had cider by them, just not the farmers glory. I drink so little there's no point buying in bulk.
Can't recall where the outlet was now.

the beautiful south. but NOT on the island
A little black label theme going this weekend. I don't usually drink Bushmills, but I do happen to know that a little drop of it in a glass of something stout goes wonderfully well.

Just as well otherwise you would only have stout to drink. Which is great as long as your'e not thirsty or just fancied a drink.

Your standard Butlin's enjoyer is more multicultural than the next man.

When I was a lifeguard in Bognor Butlin's there was a bloke who came in with a massive black square on his chest - not a particularly inventive, or effective, way to hide the massive swastika that preceded it.

I've got a lime and grapefruit sour to try in a bit. The brewery is called 'Collective Arts' and they do some good sours - the Guava one is very nice.

In our most recent first aid training they asked questions about using a defibrillator: "and would it matter if they had tattoos?"

"Well I'd think twice if they had a swastika"
No, of course not. A swastika is a code for « apply defibrillator to testes »

When I did my last first aid training course the Instructor took twenty minutes to describe the issues of wired bras and silicon implants.
Apparently the wires bust the scissors they use to remove clothing in a hurry, and doing resucitation on a lady with implants can burst them.
Who knew ?

It was a very weird course. I came away firmly decided that I thought the wearing of medieval 'pair of bodies' was bad enough  but modern mammary support/enhancement was something else.
