Yesterday - another lighter from Amazon. I thought that the last one was great so bought a spare. It took about 14 days to get to me as it was "impounded" at Royal Mail Belfast, suspected of being a dangerous item. As it was it had not been fueled-up so was released with a pro forma apology letter.
Two days earlier a jiffy bag arrived, open and with the double sided paddle strop missing from it. The buyer is sending me a replacement thankfully.

Leather paddle strop to replace the missing in the post one
Router guide for a router that I may not end up buying now. My mistake so I will keep it.
My best salvage was a Snap On mig welder. I didn't get to keep it though - pfft.

Not the postie, but the local Avon rep. Not contented with jinxing summer with the shorts, I've clinched it with three bottles of Skin So Soft in the hope of balmy summer evenings, but more probably it'll be used after rainstorms on the odd day it's warm enough to bear sitting outside in the shorts. .

Replacement 1L green Nalgenes .. which I imagine the kids will as usual leave up some trail or other within a few weeks. I really shouldn't let them out.
Might keep one of these and put a black cap on it. I rather like the look, and the kids are really adverse to it. Who knows what goes on in their charming heads

Have to admit that I still prefer the Platypus bottles/soft sac.
I've been using one of mine for nearly twenty years now, and it's still sound.
Never leaked, never tainted, just does what it's supposed to do.

a new airfryer, The old one is old, noisy and has a rotary stirrer. The new one has 2 drawers and considerably quieter.

I emailed Rotring telling them I'd crushed the cap on my 600, seems they don't do spares for it so they just sent me a new mechanical pencil, incredible really.
Also have you ever read The Times? It has such headlines as "Rwanda bill spreads dread in Calais camps".
