Beautiful warm sunny day.Went for a walk round the village AND did some gardening. Both of us chagrined to find out how unfit we are after spending so much time indoors because of the weather.

18° here today, nice and warm with just a bit of breeze, I even went out into the garden at one point!

Warm, breezy of course, but not too strong or too chilling. Dry until about an hour ago when it started with fine drizzle, on and off with sunshine.

Started off nice, until mid morning, breezy of course. Since then we’ve had some heavy showers, may be brightening up a bit now, fingers crossed.

Boiling here today, I've moved the picket fence back again, illegally annexing Rinder's West Bank. You can see the section of redundant fence still to be removed. I almost didn't bother due to the heat, But I made a start and it was less than half an hour getting the posts in, quick setting concrete is effortless.

Yesterday - another grim day with strong winds, gusting up to 50mph and altogether too much rain.

Storm duly met. Probably the worst rain I’ve experienced on a motorway, and winds to match. We made it to Calais now under decent sunshine but 16°C colder 🥶
